Red Fish

Red Fish also known as Red Drum (Sciaenops ocellatus) is a popular eating fish due to it’s mild sweet flavor, firm flesh and large moist flakes. Popularized by Chef Prudhomme in the 1980’s with his famous blackened redfish recipe.

Grown in recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS). Our red fish are sustainable raised in a controlled environment to maximize the health and wellbeing of the fish and has zero impact on the local wild fish populations. The waste from the fish are captured and used in the production of our halophytic plants such as, purslane and red mangrove.
